This is something you have to do before you make friends with them for obvious reasons. Seriously, you don't learn everything the Noldor have from talking to their smith at 100 standing, you have to capture Ithilrandir or Aeldarian to learn how to make the best stuff like Rune Armor/Ancient Plate. Noldor gear is the best you can get, but there's still some decent options outside of that if you haven't gotten the standing with Noldor to learn to make their gear and captured one of their lords to learn how to make their best stuff. Then I also believe the Raven Spears train from Pendor knights and they're pretty standard decent cav, and their sergeants are also cavalry which can get you a good mounted army all around.Įnd of the day though, your best bet for mounted IMO is to build a custom order and outfit them as you see fit. Order of the Eventide/Dawn are also pretty decent, Dawn having weaker armor but higher stats, but both still good and train from Pendor knights. Clarion Call has some neat archers and HA which are secerly missing from the Sarleon troop tree. how you build your army (including CKO) 2) the culture of your troops 3) general aesthetics The idea of orders is to specialize into a type of unit that complements your CKO. This allows the player to have their own personalized troops, as he can decide on gender, name, equipment and stats for both the Knight and Sergeant. There are mostly 3 things to consider when choosing an order. , Lords (including the player when he becomes one) can found their own Custom Knighthood Order. I also think their plate armor might be weaker than normal like Sarleon knights, but don't quote me, so might want to avoid them for that if that's the case. Mount & Blade - Prophesy of Pendor & Perisno. The better armor on the Greys and higher proficiencies make them better until you've upgraded your Silvermists at least like 5 times.Įbony Gauntlet are probably generally considered the strongest infantry order, the other good one being the Empire Immortals.Īs for a mounted order for Pendor? Order of the Griffon are decent, but you have to support the claimant to Sarleon and have him in your party to get them, which then means rebelling later on. Grey archers use short composite bows and Silvermists use regular Longbows, but Greys use I believe bodkin arrows where Silvermists use regular +1 arrows. They have lower proficiencies, same hp, weaker armor, and approximately equal strength bow/arrow combo. Silvermists have the potential to be the best archers, but starting out they are inferior to the normal Pendor Grey Archers.
